Bison silicone glass transparent for funeral urns

Especially suitable for bonding and sealing funeral urns made from clear glass (non-coated, single-layered), ceramics, porcelain, enamel, metals (including aluminium and stainless steel). We recommend you to use this kit to glue/seal urns for interior or for urns that may have to be reopened in the future. The kit is fairly easy to detach with a sharp knife. This way the chance of damaging the urn is minimal.

Preparation

Only apply at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease.

Application

Handling of packaging: Open cartridge by cutting plastic nipple with a sharp knife. Fill joint evenly with sealant within 10 minutes using a putty knife or your finger wetted with a soap solution. A surface skin will appear after approx. 15 minutes.

Stains/Residue: Remove fresh stains immediately with acetone. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.

Points of attention: Silicones cure under the influence of air humidity. Contact with air humidity is therefore essential during curing. For perfectly smooth joints, mask areas adjacent to joint with masking tape. Remove tape immediately after tooling.
